August 2011
Dancer receives a Bronze Medal at the UNICA Festival in Luxembourg, representing the UK.
April 2011:
Director James Webber travelled up to Harrogate to the 2011 BIAFF Film Festival, to collect Dancer's awards for Best British Film and Best Story, and a prestigious Diamond Award.
The BIAFF have done an article on their website on the Making of Dancer.
March 2011:
The results for BIAFF 2011 have been announced and Dancer has won Best British Film (the second time for director James Webber) and Best Story. The film also received a top Diamond Award.
December 2010:
Dancer swept the board at the American International Film & Video Festival 2010, winning Best Film, Best Story, Best Photography and Best Editing.
November 2010:
Dancer receives a Special Prize Diploma at the Estonia Tallinn Film Festival 2010.
October 2010:
Dancer has been awarded 3rd Place overall in the Independent Filmmakers category at the Canadian International Annual Film Festival 2010.
Director James Webber travelled down to Guernsey, on the weekend of the 16th-17th, to collect the special prize for Best Film in Festival and the award Best Fiction, at the Guernsey Lily International Film Festival.
September 2010:
Dancer has won a Gold Award at the 2010 Austrian Golden Diana Film Festival.
Dancer has been officially selected to be part of the Portobello Film Festival. It will be shown at the Westbourne Studios in the Cafe Bar from the 13-15th September.
August 2010:
Dancer has won the special award for Best Film in the Festival at the 2010 Guernsey Lilly International Film Festival. As well as the award for Best Fiction. Director James Webber will be traveling to Guernsey in October to collect the awards in person.
May 2010:
Dancer was screened as part of the London Film Makers Convention, at the Roundhouse Cafe on Sunday 30th May.
April 2010:
Dancer and writer / director James Webber were featured in a news story in this week's Hounslow Chronicle.
March 2010:
Dancer had it's first official screening at the Charlotte Street Hotel in London, alongside Vision Fingercuff's other short film project, directed by Dancer D.O.P Jamie Hooper.
The DVD artwork for Dancer has been designed and produced, ready to send off to festivals around the world!
The film has finally been completed after final sound editing and grading, and we are all extremely proud of how it has turned out!
February 2010:
The film is currently in it's final stages of editing, sound editing and scoring to music.
January 2010:
The trailer for Dancer is now available to view online. Featuring the track Hello Dave by Narration.
November/December 2009:
Final pick-ups are filmed. Editing and post-production begins, continuing until the end of the year.
September/October 2009:
Shooting commences on Dancer in various locations around the Richmond/Twickenham area.
July/August 2009:
Pre-production on Dancer begins. Auditions for the lead roles are held through-out August.
